Agency Organizations (2 Hours)
Learn about the types of agency organizational structures, the importance of licensing, and the role of state and federal regulation. Understand the stages an organization goes through as it grows. Discover why it is important to understand both traditional and non-traditional insurance company markets and determine the best arrangement for the agency.

Understanding and Managing Financial Strength (2 Hours)
Gain an understanding of how financial performance affects both clients and agency employees. Study the basics of Cash Flow, Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and the importance of effective collection procedures. Learn ways to establish financial goals and manage expenses.

Agency Planning (4 Hours)
Learn the fundamentals of agency planning and the steps involved in the planning process, including questions to consider in the agency planning process and how to conduct the proper agency analysis. Understand the benefits of succession planning and the methods to use to perpetuate the agency organization as a successful viable entity.

Human Resources (4 Hours)
Examine the process of managing personnel including legal guidelines, establishing job descriptions, interviewing techniques, performance appraisals/evaluations, and termination procedures. Learn the organizational impact of mergers and acquisitions on the agency personnel.

Agency Productivity and Effectiveness (4 Hours)
Study productivity and how to take advantage of automation to improve the effectiveness of your organization. Discover how to manage processes and the importance of having written procedures.  Identify sources of receiving and distributing information and better understand how to use reports from an agency management system. Gain an understanding of compliance and cyber liability exposures and learn how to address these important data requirements.

Legal and Ethical Responsibilities (4 Hours)
Determine what motivates ethical behavior and how to define the types of agency authority and the resulting liability. Examine the leading causes of errors and omissions claims made against agents and the risk control methods that can be implemented to reduce or prevent them.
